Brand Equity Quiz - 2011 Pune Edition


Its been raining quizzes here in Pune.The Westin hosted the Pune edition of Brand Equity Quiz,2011. Derek O Brien conducted the quiz. Ramanand has posted the questions from the prelims here. I have posted here the questions from the finals except the ones from the buzzer round. Infosys did superbly in the buzzer round to beat us and finally qualify for the National finals. Tata Crucible Corporate Quiz,2011-Pune

Being the Q-BIT correspondent from Pune, here are the questions(which as Pickbrain said were on the tougher side. According to him, Pune is at the 3rd position among the cities as far as the level of questions are concerned) from the quiz.Samrat Mukherjee and Ashish Singh from DCB Bank finished as the winners while the team from ECLERX ended up as runners-up. The other teams which reached the finals were Mindtickle,Cognizant, John Deree and Amdocs. While in the Tata Track, Tata Chemicals became the winners for the first time in Pune. There were more than 200 teams in the prelims and it was a hard fought battle with five among the six finalists being at the same score. We missed the finals by 2 points and returned home with the audience prize(me and my partner Jaipal adding a crucible bag to our collection).
