A special feature in intaglio has been introduced on the left of the watermark window on all notes except Rs.10/- and Rs.5/- note. This feature is in different shapes for various denominations (Rs. 20-Vertical Rectangle, Rs.50-Square, Rs.100-Triangle, Rs.500-Circle, Rs.1000-Diamond) and helps the visually impaired to identify the denomination.

Special Identification mark used on the left hand side of an Indian Rupee's back of a note. eg. Rectangle for 20, Square for 50, etc.

Identification mark(INR)-A mathem-atical shape unique for the denomination is printed on the left hand side just below the floral design. The printing is of type intaglio to help even the visually impaired people to recognize the fake notes(INR).

Correct Answer- intaglio on Indian currency notes for the benefit of the visually impaired. All notes except Rs. 5 and Rs. 10 have it.
