Welcome to the World Quizzing Championships 2009!
June 6th, 2009, sees the World Quizzing Championships taking place in 44 locations across 24 countries, making it the largest ever! This website contains information on how you can participate in the most prestigious quiz competition on the planet, along with hundreds of other players from around the globe.
The World Quizzing Championships first took place in one venue in England in 2003. Since then, they have spread into 5 continents of the world and are growing every year.
The WQC is run by the International Quizzing Association, an organisation dedicated to turning quiz into a recognised mind sport and to bringing the World Quizzing Championships to television.
The World Quizzing Championships will be held at 4:00pm. on Saturday, June 6 2009. (Registration at 3:30 pm)
