As correctly cracked by most of u, it is indeed the Microwave Oven.

Invented by Percy Spencer at the defense industry behemoth Raytheon as a serendipity rather than a planned invention, it was commercially introduced as a standard household product by Amana Corp, now a subsidiary of Whirlpool. The final piece in the jigsaw is the dipole, which is the very foundation of cooking using a MW oven !!!
