As correctly cracked by most of u, it is indeed the Microwave Oven.
Invented by Percy Spencer at the defense industry behemoth Raytheon as a serendipity rather than a planned invention, it was commercially introduced as a standard household product by Amana Corp, now a subsidiary of Whirlpool. The final piece in the jigsaw is the dipole, which is the very foundation of cooking using a MW oven !!!

    Percy Spencer while working for Raytheon Corporation invemted the Microwave Owen. Microve uses electric diapoles for heating. Raytheon acquired Amana Corporation in 1965 and launched first popular home microwave.

    The Amana Corporation is an American brand of household appliances.
    Amana was acquired in 1965 by Raytheon,Percy L. Spencer an engineer of which had invented the microwave oven in 1947.
