Dal Lake (Kashmir), Gaube Lake, Lake Chad (Chad), Lake Nyassa (Malawi), Lake Tahoe (California) and Lake Hayq (Ethiopia)
The names of all these lakes are tautological, i.e their name means lake itself in the native language of their region.

Tahoe means lake in Washo etc.
