The Comic Book Quiz

The first quizzing event of the Spring '13 semester. A theme based quiz focussing upon comic books, more specifically superheroes.
The Jharkhand wide power crisis and permission issues hindered the smooth progress of the event. Nevertheless the enthusiasts stayed back and all in all it was as good a quizzing evening as it could have been.
All teams performing well and scoring quite well in prelims as well as the mains, leaving very few question that went totally unanswered.
The various rounds along with question (and answer) slides were as follows:
Prelims:
The six finalists of the day were:
Aditya Tyagi and Ketan Vatsalya (2k10)
Vishesh Srivastava and Waqar Ahmad (2k10)
Akshat Uniyal and Pratyusha Sharon Kumar (2k9)
Kabeeb Sivaprasad and Arhun Ghani (2k11)
Siddharth Shaurya and Himank Nagpal (2k12)
Kanishka Ganguly and Vishesh Dokaniya (2k11)

There was a audio visual round as well.
The contest was as interesting as any epic comic book epilogue. The team from 2k12 needs a special mention for they show great enthusiasm and kept working out amazing answers in course of the quiz, as did their seniors.
The final results were as follows:
1st: Aditya Tyagi and Ketan Vatsalya (2k10)
2nd: Vishesh Srivastava and Waqar Ahmad (2k10)
3rd: Akshat Uniyal and Pratyusha Sharon Kumar (2k9)
4th: Kabeeb Sivaprasad and Arhun Ghani (2k11)

Cash prizes were handed out.
