Super Sunday VII

a) Connect (3/5)

b) The Art of War

A was a British soldier, who confirmed the death of B during the battle of C. After returning to Europe, he rose to prominence as a general in the D wars. He is mostly renowned for defeating E in the famous F. E is one of the most famous military leaders of all time, but his failure in D and then invading G eventually became his life’s turning points.
H was a renowned archaeologist who dug up the tomb of I during WW II, and since this coincided with J’s invasion of G, it became a popular legend that the invasion was a result of a very old curse that would fall upon whoever opens I’s grave.
K and L once went into a war (known as the M war) which was partially the result of violence between fans during consecutive M matches. A very prestigious M trophy is named N after a group of people who led many countries to freedom from the O and P empires. Q is perhaps the most famous member of this group, and the country R is named after him. Q also appears as a playable character in the popular strategy game S. In the Indian campaign of S, the protagonist is named after the rebellion leader T.
