    Akshay Kumar plays the lead role in the movie. The case marked the end of trials by jury in India. The incident took place in Bombay.

    First one is Mumbai( as this case was transpired in Bombay). Second is trial by jury .. That time when this happened, india was still following jury trial method. And third is Akshay Kumar . Whose film - Rustom was based on this case.

    Akshay kumar movie rustom was based on the famous Naval officer case of Nanavati, and it was the last case in India where judgement was given by a board of juree.

  8. The answer is the K M Nanavati vs the state of Maharashtra case of 1959 after which jury trials were abolished in India. The movie Rustom, featuring Akshay Kumar, was loosely based on this real life case.
    Anybody who mentions Nanavati will get points. Sadly, only mentioning Rustom without the inclusion of Nanavati case in the answer, wont be considered correct.
