Codenames for different versions of Microsoft Windows software?
ReplyDeleteXP was called Whislter,Windows 7 was blackcomb and Chicago is 95 and so on.
Ans - Microsoft codenames for various windows versions.
ReplyDeleteExp - Whistler(Windows XP), Blackcomb(Windows 7), Chicago(Windows 95), Redstone(Windows 10), Longhorn(Windows Vista).
all are codenames of different versions of windows, redstone for windows 10, chicago for windows 95, whistler for windows xp, blackcomb for windows 7,longhorn for windows vista

Each picture represents a codename for one of the Windows operating system or a update.“Longhorn” was the codename for the Vista Operating System. “Redstone” updates were a series of major feature updates for Windows 10. “Chicago” was the codename for Windows 95. Windows 7 was variably referred to as “Blackcomb” or “Vienna”
