X was started by A & B in 1937 as a distributor for a Japanese company. The name X is derived from the names of A & B. X was then passed on to A & B's cousin C. After C's son joined the company in 1967, the company saw a significant expansion in its business and scale. The company went on to become a leading firm in the sector. In 2008 it was taken over by a Japanese company Y whose logo is shown below. Id X & Y along with X's founders A & B.
