QFW 3: Mutton Dressed as Lamb

Continuing on our fashion posts, here is the 3rd post for the week. A mix of dry and connects worth 80 90 points. Great to see the leaderboard being populated! A lot of places got shuffled after the previous post. So, its never too late to start!

4.  Another XYZ question. :) Princess X carried a bag and appeared in a famous magazine trying to hide her bump. The bag as then renamed as the X bag. The company, Z that made this bag, after 28 years, made named another famous bag Y after actress Y. Variants of Y reaches costs of $150,000 and uses reptile skin. Z apparently used Pakistani buffalo skin to make its handbags too. Z opened shop in India in 2008 at The Oberoi, Delhi. ID X, Y and Z. [5 points for each ID]


5. It became the national dress of a country, announced by the its founder. The richest man in the world during the 2nd World War always wore this dress. A modified version of this dress was named after a famous politician, popularized by a Hippie band and was famously worn by Steven Seagal. Which dress am I talking about? [10 points]

    3.Bikini is the connect.
    Brian hyland's song Itsy bitsy teenie weenie was about a woman who wears a bikini for the 1st time.
    The hydrogen bomb was tested by the americans at a Micronesian reef called called the bikini reef.
    Sharmila tagore wore the bikini in the movie an evening in paris.

    Its the national dress of pakistan. Nizam of Hyderabad Mir Sir Osman Ali khan who was the riches man during second world war always wore a sherwani. Its modified form is the Nehru jacket which was worn by the beatles also.

    1. Sarah Burton who works at Alex Mcqueen's brand named after him designed the wedding dress of Kate Middleton. David and Elizabeth Emanuel were the designers of Princess Diana's famous wedding dress. So the connect has to be with the royal weddings maybe.
